I paid 200$ Canadian, down from 400$. I have a few questions;

1) How'd I do?

2) What is the best sound type to use for music, movies, and video games? Eg. Pro logic vs multi, etc. I don't know much about speakers, so I'm pretty lost in that sense.

3) What is the best way to hook up 3 inputs to it? There is only 1 set of red/whites on the back, so I currently have my xbox, mixer, and laptop all hooked up to it using piggyback RCA cables. It seems that it can only play one of the inputs at a time though, is that right?

4) Does the sound setting matter very much? I have the option to change from movie-music-tv, does it really make a difference?

Question 2 is my main question. Basically I can go into setup and I have the option to change the surround sound setting, one of the settings is pro logic, another is MULTI-RF or something, and idk what I should be using. Pro logic uses the front left/right and surround right/left and no center, and it sounds decent, whereas multi uses the centre for speech, left/right for main sounds, and surround left/right is much quieter but are for background noises, which im not sure is right because ive never had surround sound before.

1. i think you did good, sony makes some good speakers but i personally would of gone with yamaha
2. Personal pref on what you like to hear, for example more bass or treb, etc.
3. From my understanding of it, you can only have one input running at a time but lets say you are on you xbox, you can switch the input to the laptop to listen to music but still play your xbox with no sound.
4. again like number 2, personal pref.
