You mean the old venturi bolts? I think an open face bolt with an ARB has a similar effect, making the air move faster because it has less space to fill.

Right, I may be mistaken but I remember someone saying that an ARB tip inside of a Shocker bolt would yield similar results as far as velocity gains are concerned.

(Ydna) it diffuses the air being used to fire the ball, .... I never really noticed a diff in the two I made, open faced.
looks like maybe worth a try with NDZ bolts
