Which one?

Big fan of cockers I've had my fair share but I'm just curious of the pro's and con's looking at shocktech and free flow style cockers. For the price which one would be a better purchase?

Love Shocktech cockers and parts. But love Freeflow Wirestyle detents.

I say go with whatever you like the looks of the most. You can always change pneumatics around.

All that matters with a cocker body is if you like how it looks. You can make any cocker perform the same or better than the next with the parts you put in/on it

I think they're a lot more adjustable and a little softer on paint

really depends on your taste in the body style of either one. as far as the wire detent, i think they are about the same as the ball version as far as pressure on the ball in waiting. both are quality AC. A GOOD price is always a good steering point.

Wire detents don't explode mid game leaving you stranded. I was under the impression that the Free flow's had notoriously bad back blocks and people should avoid the "p" block ones....
