Im building a mini cocker pump and the CCM AC lower internals I ordered arrived today. I installed them and immediately the mini began to leak into the breach above the valve. Do i need to use a different valve spring for a mini cocker? HELP!

This is the first autococker I have built so cut me some slack

you have to cock the gun before you air it up. if it leaks after shooting then turn the reg up. if its just leaking period then the valve oring probably isnt seated properly

I dont even have the rammer in or anything, just the valve.

also im using a regular air through, not an adjustable reg

did the spring stay on the cup seal when you installed the valve? it should hold air regged or not

if the ccm spring is the same length as the stock valve spring then its not a spring issue

improperly installed valve??? are the passages lined up correctly or is the valve seated properly???

Here's your problem.

Way too much pressure. Find an adjustable regulator and put the psi somewhere in the 250-400 PSI range. Best to start at 300 PSI and sweetspot.

Did you make sure the o-ring is on the valve?

It should hold air even without a reg.

yes the oring is on the valve

When i adjust the nut that hold the vavle into place that kind of stops the leak a bit

lube the valve oring then reinstall. the jam nut shouldnt be able to adjust. it should be in tight against the valve

thanks man, just ran out of air though ....

Im taking it to my field this weekend to get it looked at.
