Moving to cali this summer

hey guys this summer im making the move from iowa to chico and want to know where some good feilds to play at around there or are a close drive

Well, I don't live down in SoCal, but I've been there for a few events. In Chico, I know there is SC Village. Played a few events there, the field is nice. Great fields for speedball, and they also have this giant rec-ball field as well.

is it pretty easy to get on a team and/or be a weekend warrior and have pick up games

I think you mixed up chino, ca (so cal) with chico, ca (nor cal). Chico is about two hours north of Sacramento.

OP, Davis PB and Capital Edge are a little less than a two hour drive from you. Both fantastic and easy to get games in. There is also Redding PB up north, home of Loaded Inc, I've never been there but they're a great group of guys to ball with.

Yeah, CEP is a nice field. I haven't been to Davis, but I've heard good things. It's relatively easy to get games in.

If you're up for a drive, SCP is a nice place as well. Might be a bit out of your driving distance though.

So I did some google mapping for you (these are the shortest routes), these are all from Chico.

To Capital Edge: 99.4 miles ~1 hour; 58 minutes

To Davis: 96.6 miles; ~1 hour 56 minutes

To Santa Clara Paintball: 206 miles; ~3 hours 40 minutes

To Extreme Paintball: 156 miles; ~2 hours 48 mintues

To Midway Facility: 117 miles; ~2 hours 5 minutes

There is some place out in ****ing nowhere (Shooters All Season), but I went there for my friends birthday party a few years back and will never go there again. Rules are strict, owners are friendly yes but the field sucks and blah blah it's for beginners. If you are interested though........(I can't believe my workplace advertises this place

63.8 miles; ~1 hour 18 minutes.

I just didn't have a good time there. I'd take the extra drive.

Now everyone will be biased by the fields they play at. Since CEPP and Davis are your closest I'd pick one of those. If you aren't tight on gas, hell try em all.
Both owners at Davis (Micah) and Capital Edge (Dave) are great field owners and players. I love them both.

i would say in for weeks go to Redding PB, Davis PB,Capital Edge, and You have to even though its a longer ride go to extreme paintball in modesto HMU on Davis or extreme.

ill have to make a trip up there, ill be flying to ca feb. 1st thru the 13th to check out the state
