Are there black trigger plates? Black Pump arms? Pump guide?

Im in the process of blacking out the remaining parts on my autococker, and Im trying to track down a black trigger plate and a black pump arm. From what I can find, KAPP made a black trigger plate but I cant find anyone selling one nor any information on whether it was a good part. And does anyone at all make black pump arms? Ive never seen one. Also, the color on my pump guide is wearing off, where can I buy a new black pump guide?

Alternatively, can I spray paint the guide/pump arm? Maybe powdercoating? (I have a hookup for powdercoating)

Aluminum pump arms are anodizable, stainless would be oxidizable.

GAT Products autotrigger kits come with black trigger plates.

As for your guide rod, chances are it's replaceable, but what brand is it?

Its a WGP pump handle, so Im assuming the guide rod is WGP as well? How would I go about getting the rod oxidized?

I don't personally know of any companies offering oxidizing, but I'm sure someone can do it. I would try Google first.

I feel like it would be cheaper to just find the parts. I emailed GAT and asked them if I could purchase a trigger plate and pump arm seperately. Do you think their pump arm would fit my kit if they are both for a standard autococker?

if im not mistaken the GAT pump arm is threaded differently on each end. 10-32 on the backblock end and 10-24 on the pump handle end. the ones on my WGP kit's pump arms are both 10-32

Since the pump handle is delrin, cant you forcibly rethread the socket by just screwing it in?

I think im just going to sand the parts and try some sort of friction resistant spray coat. Will report back with results

if its steel, jsut take it off and spray it with flat black rustolium paint, or contact Ken at KPcustoms and have him power coat it for you.

That what I would do, if I didn't have the means to get the black done the other ways.

I would not recommend trying to "forcibly re-thread" anything you aren't ready to spend money replacing.

Do not forcibly rethread the pump handle. I would contact gat and see about getting those parts seperately. or just guy the autotrigger kit. from what i hear it is good. I have not installed mine yet.

gat kit

that should be everything u need and if u contact them they can tell u about the threading on the rods.

I also would not say paint the rod, cuz if u are using a pump arm guide it will rub the paint off in one day.

they may also be able to quote u for just the rod, plate and guide, but it may only be a little less than the whole kit. hope that helps

also I would say replace all stainless screws with the black screws from the hardware store

New black pump arms (for pumps--not cockers) can be found here:

http://www.mcarterbrown.com/forums/d...ccesories.html

I made the mistake of thinking they were for cockers. Still have those mistakes, too.

New cocker pump arms can be found here:
http://www.paintballgateway.com/wgpaupuarmbl.html
PaintballGateway is proud of their shipping though.

Thanks,
Jim
