It is hard to believe this day has finally come. I have to say that I have mixed feelings today. It is wonderful to look forward to a future of no more welts and paint stained clothes, but I also feel some sadness at leaving what has been such an important part of my life.
This sport is like a family and though I know I will see some of you around, this day is kind of like moving away from home. It has great promise and yet, knowing that I won’t see the members of my family every day anymore is hard to imagine.
But it is time to move on. I have enjoyed my time as owner, coach and friend. I know we have done some great things.
I thank my team mates for making this a great year. We’ve had good times at practices and at events.
This is a great team and I know you will continue on with the growth and innovation that has been the hallmark of this organization. I hope all of you feel as fortunate to play on here as I have.
And thank you to our sponsors for your support of IA Entourage over the past year and to all the great teams of the State of Iowa there are none greater. Keep up the fight and keep paintball alive and well.
