I've never heard of this happening. I would just buy a new one for the price, it's only $5 and the spring will not sit properly being broken.

Agreed. I'm impressed, but all the same it's liable to jump off the lip inside the bolt or move and stop the bolt from returning all the way, depending on which side it's on.
For $6, IMO it's not worth the risk.

Itīs the first time i ever heard about a rhino spring breaking.
There were some that lost compression over the time which is quite normal for a spring, but i never saw a broken one.
I wouldnīt be too surprised if rhino replaces it for free, just to keep itīs failure rate where it is ^^
And if not, like the others said, itīs only 5-6$ for a new one

just a few months. i have 2 more. took look at the spring; it is thin at spot where it broke. i guess it's a flaw from the factory.

Got it today. Looks like the spring broke at the pont where it was ground down to be flat. I'm sending you a replacement this weekend. Thanks for taking the time, energy, and money to send me the broken spring. I just wanted to make sure I didn't goof up. Looks to be an isolated incident.
Thanks again,
Rhino

But most of all, I hate Gary Bettman who is the worst commissioner in any league.....ever". - bigolechet.
