Question gap between body and frame on one side of demon

Just got my demon today and the frame and body seem slightly off on one side. There is at least a millimeter or two gap between them on one side of the marker. Is this normal? Will it let dirt and paint in and harm the marker? Please help.

You may have an eye wire in the way on that side.

Dis you remove the frame? It may havr miss lined the eye wire to the right or left. It needs to be directly down the center where the milled out path is.

Check the eye wire as eric said, and it should sit correctly.

Since you bought it used i would ask the person you bought it from about the gap or if he had a hard time with the eye wires getting put back correctly.

I've seen several demons with a slight gap in the same place as well. Mine has one too and my eye wire is not pinching. It dosent bother me. I guess you can try to re-seat the body to trigger frame.

i tried re-seating and nothing changed. does it allow a lot of dirt and debris inside of the gun? i dont want to have to strip it down completely after every single use.

No not really, I sometimes use a toothpick to clean that area. I haven't pull apart my gun in 3 months & I've played almost every weekend. And it looks clean. Don't sweat it.
