Alright folks, Do any of your snowboard or have any experience trying? I am going for the first time this Sunday and I am looking for pointers. This is an off topic thread right? I figure it would give us something else to talk about for a bit.

Yeah, I snowboard... have for about 5 years. This season will be my 6th. The thing I tell people the most is that you will fall... and fall... and fall... lol. Don't worry about it. Just go slow and learn to balance first... then try to lean back a little to turn.... Takes things slow, and remember that if it's your first time, don't expect to go down double diamonds, or through the woods lol.

If you can get into a class or spend time with an instructor, they may be able to help you out. I never had anyone helping me when I first started though. I was sore as hell the day after my first time out. Mostly from falling a lot, but also from learning to keep crouched down a little, and the fact that I spent literally all day there.

To help with the cost of things, since sometimes it can get a bit pricey, take some food with you, and make sure to drink lots of fluids and take breaks. If you ride pretty hard, you can get tired quick. I normally take some Clif bars with me... just something to help keep me going, and to give me some extra energy.

I assume that you'll be renting gear? I kinda jumped into it, and bought everything before I even went. It paid off in the long run since I never had to rent, and I didn't look like a complete noob... lol. I have a Morrow board, and 51/50 bindings and boots. I want to get some step-in bindings, but it's hard to find boots in my size that are able to do that. I take a size 12-13. :/

Either way, you'll have a blast!

Yeah, I'm in Indiana, and there still isn't a whole lot of time to go. I normally can't go until late January/ February 'cause it doesn't stay cold consistently enough.

That is nice. A contract manufacturer selling against your previous customer.

Azodin has the possibility to become a serious marker manufacturer, as kingman/spyder will always be just the entry level.

OK, I didn't know that Spyder are entry level blow backs and Azodin are serious blow backs.

We believe entry level equipments are foundamental for the sports especially in paintball. On the other side, we also believe people underestimate STBB System and Azodin is here to prove what we can do to improve and show it to people.

On personal reference, it is always a rush for me when I compete with High End guns and beat the crap out of them.

stbb's are hardon the paint tho, its difficult to use higher end paint, sacrificing accuracy to avoid chops.

Yes very true, that's because the Traditional STBB Markers are High Pressure markers (800psi) and Traditional Striker/Hammer we call it "Hard Hit" therefore it is not so friendly with fragile paints.

One of Azodin key feature to set apart from other STBB markers is the Feather Striker Design, this enable us to what we call "Gentle Hit" to achieve the same velocity but able to use more fragile paints.

The Working Pressure for Blitz is set around from 350~400psi and for Zenith is around 250psi which is another key point that Azodin STBB Design is much more gentle with the paints compare to others.

question: if i put a reg on my old kaos, as well at your zero system, thats going to drastically help with the chopping of higher end paint?

I would suggest you to get a reg first then the ZeRO System.

This is because if you add Reg and ZeRO in one go it may too tricky for some people to adjust to its optimal performance even sometimes leakage unless you have fully understand our system.

If you add the reg on your Kaos start with 700psi and gradually lower the working pressure. Once you have lowered the working pressure you should start to see the difference on either lower kick = gentle hit, lower sound signature etc...

blowback system isnt complicated, but azodin claims that with a reg and z.s., the marker can operate at even below 300 psi, its not a matter of, can i install and properly adjust it, its a question of is it true that it can change a simple kaos from 800+ to below 300, i use 2 kaos' for loaners, and i dont like to buy cheaper paint just for those

Yes it is true if you add a Reg and our ZeRO it will work around 300psi depending what velocity we want, Higher Velocity (250fps+) you may need 300+psi and Lower Velocity (250fps-) you may only need 300-psi, but it also relates bore matching of barrels too and honestly it will help significally if you upgrade the stock Kaos Barrel as well.
