My brother is very interested in starting to play paintball but, he needs help to decide what guns he wants. I keep telling him that you cant go wrong with planet eclipse but he wants me more input.

These are the guns he might be interested in for a 300-400 dollar price tag.

Bah. I know some idiots that could mess up anything!

That said, since the Etha isn't actually out, it's going to be hard to compare against that since 99% of us haven't actually SHOT one.

So therefore I would agree with taking the Axe over the Phenom.

Haha your probably right but Im just saying that the Axe is really reliable

I handled an Etha the other day at a local shop. He's a big time PE dealer and they sent him a sample model. Didn't get to shoot it but wasn't overly impressed. Felt cheap. Most of it is the same material the LT Etek is made out of. Feedneck and everything. Might be an ok gun, like I said I didn't get to shoot it, but based on look and feel it was a letdown for me.

Ps- I would vote other if it were an option.

Honestly the Etha is suppose to be a cheap gun like an etek its a G-etek the axe is a great gun but i have seen alot of them go down and stay away from the phenom ur comparing woodsball guns to speedball guns id say look in to a used DM8 or EGO08 easy to maintain or wait till the etha comes out and shoot it and see how you like it. Every one on here can like on or bash on a gun but ultimately its up to you and how the gun feels in your hands and how u like it shoots

Fusion Fx is good but IMO the trigger isnt very good i would switch it out if you went that way

my axe shoots awesome, no problems when playing against people using luxes and nt's and all the other super high end stuff. The gun is amazing, and it just happens to cost 450.
