T2 or a S6.5? help me decide!!!!
hey yall, i plan on placing an order this winter for my pump. but i can't decide if i want a T2 or a S6.5. i've owned a S6.5, but never actually used it in a game(had to sell for financial reasons).
so please list the pro's and cons of each
try and keep an open mind. and try and limit your input if you're not an owner of either. thanks for your help!!!

If you want left or right feed, ccm built in sizers u have to go with a T2.
IMO S6.5 looks way better.
T2 has dual pump arms and 1 guide rod, if you are hard with the AT it might bind.
S6.5 have 1 pump arm and 2 guide rod so it is more like a cocker.
IIRC, last time I talked with Mel (pre-thanksgiving) S6.5 has a 8 week wait while the T2 has a 2 week wait. Don't quote me on that, call CCM to confirm.

Pretty much the same gun, But with different bodies. The t2 is modular, but the 6.5 looks far better IMO. So pick which one you like better.

i'm pretty sure the s6.5 is a tad lighter, plus it's just sexier.

6.5 is easier to mantain and clean. If you don't care about feed options or body inserts get a 6.5. I've got both but shoot the t2 95% of the time cause of left feed.

I actually don't care for either of the two.
Full bodies FTW
Both the T2 and the 6.5 are fantastic shooters. It really comes down to your preferences. You want the modular design, the milling, the tube feature, etc?
Other than selling your 6.5 for financial reasons, did you at least hold it?

I have owned both, loved both markers, I liked the 6.5 slightly more than the T2...
Just wait for the new ccm marker to be released sometime in the first few months of 2012, Sold both my pumps and cannot wait to buy the new, soon to be released ccm marker....I really like the milling on the new one

Really, I'd think the more important decision with a CCM gun is 86° or 45-style frame. Vertical type frames are a real love-it or hate-it sort of thing.

I'm in the same boat between choosing an s6.5 and a T2, but the grips have me concerned. I currently shoot an ego primarily, which grip angle is closest to that of the ego?
I'm leaning towards the s6.5 because I can be pretty aggressive with the auto trigger.

Neither is really that close, current Ego frames are roughly between the angles of the .45 and 86* frames. I can recommend that if you choose .45 that you go with the "slim" version.

I don't understand your logic... both snipers are equally solid in AT, and if anything, the T2 would be more stable.
Frankly, the real differences between the guns is the feel of the pump handles available, and whether or not you want options for the top tubes of your gun.

That's what I thought..... I was leaning towards the 86, but I've read that people either love or hate that one.

I've read lots of posts that the T2 can be prone to binding if you are aggressive while pumping because of the dual rods.

Only if you twist the crap out of the handle. It just feel like grinding. Not a big issue.

You can damage anything if you do it wrong enough.
