So i couldnt quote this because the other thread got locked, here is a easy manual to use to get digital paintball. Hopefully it will end all the threads asking to get it and it will save everyones time.
Ok please before saying " we have a dpb fourm for all this", and i totally aggree with you. But most people do not understand that and keep cluttering threads asking basic questions. So i decided i wanted to keep our forums clutter free so we can post quality posts. Ive steve or anyone does not want this here please pm me and i will take it down.
ok so you wanna play dpb huh? ok well here is what you have to do to get it.
PART 1 (HOW TO GET DPB)
Step 1:
go to this page and download steam.
Step 2:
Create a new steam account (concidering you do not have one yet), if you have an account then just log in to steam.
Step 3:
Steam will open up. Now type in "Half Life" in the search box. I show you where the search box is in the picture below.
Step 4:
Ok now your saying which half life do i download/buy. Click on the one with the orange background like the one in the picture below.
Step 5:
Now you should be in the half life page. Now click purchase game or buy game. Once you buy the game download it so it is playable.
Step 6:
Now that you have half life go to this page, and download the digital paintball 2.1 and install it.
Step 7:
Restart your computer then open up steam. Go to "my games" and digital paintball should be there, click on it and play paintball warz online.
PART 2 (HOW TO SHOOT FAST)
Ok if you just jumped right into the game you are wondering, why can everyone shoot mad fast and i am one balling it. There are two things you can do, one is download far ( a full auto program ) or two ( use a script ).
Step 1:
To get far ( full auto program ) just go to this page.
Step 2:
If you think far is to hard for you to understand, then you can use a script. To use a script, copy this:
bind mouse1 "+attack;wait;-attack;wait;+attack;wait;-attack"
Now that you copied that, open dpb up then hit this key: ~ , now a screen should pop up. Paste that thing you just copied into it, then exit out of the screen. Go into a server and you can shoot two balls per trigger pull.
PART 3 (HOW TO GET COOL LOOKING GUNS AND PLAYERS)
Ok, this is the hardest part for n00bz to digital paintball. So pay attention. I am going to split this up into two sections one for the gun skins and one for the player skins.
Step 1 (guns):
go to this page. You can chose ethier digital 2.1 or gold to use. They both work the same, dpb gold ushally has better skins.
Step 2 (guns):
If you went to gold, click on "models". If you clicked on dpb 2.1 skins you are already in the gun skins. Now just find a gun that you like and save it on your desktop.
Step 3 (guns):
Now extract the folder and you will see a thing that says a gun name then ".mdl" after and a text thing that says credit. Go ahead and delete the credit, it doesnt do anything.
Step 4 (guns):
Now decide what gun you want the skin to be. Like say you want your new skin to be fast, the most common thing to do is to rename you skin ethier "v_timmy.mdl" which will replace you timmy skin. Or "v_angel.mdl" to replace the angel skin. Or "v_excal.mdl" to replace the excalibur.
Step 5 (guns):
Now that your skin is ready to replace your old old. Click on my computer and go to "local C disk" .
Step 6 (guns):
Now go to program files and open the "steam" or "valve" folder.
Step 7 (guns):
Now click on "steamapps" then once you do that you should see your login name only as a folder. Click on that.
Step 8 (guns):
Click on the "half life" folder, then click on the "dpb" folder
Step 9 (guns):
Click on the "models" folder then drag the skin you downloaded in to that folder. It will say "would you like to replace" or something like that. Press yes. Now your skin is in dpb and you will have a cool thing to shoot people with.

I am going to use the 07 ego model for this.
Step 1.
download and open the file.
Step 2.
now drag it to desktop(your background)
Step 3.
now that it is on your desktop we will open the models folder.
Step 4.
go to my computer and then your C drive.
Step 5.
click on program files and then find Steam.
Step 6.
once you have opened steam find steamapps, open steamapps and then double click on your account name.
Step 7.
with your account file open, double click the half-life folder, then find dpb, once you have found the dpb file open it and go to the models folder within the dpb file.
Step 8.
take the model file you dragged to the desktop, and put it into the model folder. when asked to overrite, click yes.
Step 9.
enjoy the new model you just installed!
Step 1 (players):
If you want to get new players. Go to this page or the dpb forum for better ones that people make like:
SD Aftermath & Drama
Step 2 (players):
NOW DO NOT RENAME THE PLAYER SKINS!!!!! Do everything you did to get your gun skin exept. When you get in the "models" folder, at the top left there should be a folder that says "player". Open it and click on "player one" folder, replace the skin and you are good to go.
PART 4 (GOOD SERVERS)
Here are a list of good servers that you can play in:

and a few other i forgot
NOTE!!!!: that if your game says something like " your clients dl is different from the hosts" that means that it is not dpb 2.1, it is ethier dpb gold or 2.2
