Ok I got an evolve bolt today and I am using it in my dynasty shocker. I use the evolve fire can and it leakos and fires about 25% of the time and cycles the rest. I put my he can and it chronos 285+-4. Any suggestions???
Ok I put all new o-rings and it leaks around the bolt so I went through my options and tried a different firing can and still leaked. Then I tried a different bolt with the evolve can and a perfect seal so I looked at the bolt closely and it has a few deep scratches. Could this be fixed with polishing out the bolt and having it anodized with a polished finish?
Hate to tell you, but that bolt is probably garbage. Deep scratches could cause the problem, and you can't just polish and re ano it. Evolve bolts are magnesium so it's not quite as simple as re-anoing it. Even if it's not the scratches Evolve is known for poor quality control. You could have gotten a bolt that's a hair undersized.
