Do your research and read in the Ego Threads about XSV 05/06 markers; the really collectible ones according to Jack Wood are the odd colour 2006.
*EDIT I own a 2006 XSV because it has the most extensive milling of any Ego, ever.

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll look into it.

curious as to how recently the average pricing list in the OP was updated. Just picked up an egoX off craigslist for dirt cheap and plan on flipping it.

Well when you consider you can get used Ego7 for just over 300, like 325, it is not a good value.
However if you asking if this a worth collecting as a Private Label marker since it is a Team Nexus, then yes.
Someone brought this up in the Closed Bolt owners thread, i mentioned that while it has the 05 grip frame and OOPS ASA, it appears to have the newer 06 STAR Reg.
The seller mentions having the matching board and barrel, which is a plus, but the color scheme is personal taste.

You need to do a Search on PbNation and go through the Threads and read them through.

The SL66 XSV Series Ego DOES indeed replace the 05 and 06 XSV Ego. We have now stopped production of 06 XSV Egos. You can now consider them "collectors" items, and all you people who moan about resale should be happy to know that there will be no more 06 XSV Egos produced.
The really rare ones will be the short-run odd color-combo 06 XSV we ran at the start of this year.

just got an unbelievable deal on an egoX, i believe it is completely stock and in great condition....based on that and knowing the OP in this thread has them listed 700-750 realistically can i expect to get 650 for it?

No. I'd say $600 tops.

if 600 tops why does the first post say 7-750? is that for private label only, because it isnt written that way.
edit: I'd still be very happy with 600 compared to what I paid, but that breakdown in the OP was misleading/confusing.

Needs to be adjusted. Those prices are possible, but unlikely. We try to set them realistically. I was struggling to get $800 for my Ego11.

how has planet eclipse's decision not to release an ego for the 2012 year effected the value of ego markers? should they not hold their value for a longer period of time?

I was thinking it would make the current models retain their value better. But as you can see from the updated pricing in First Post, the values had gone down as fast as they normally do.
