Drilling the pump guide
Does anyone do this service? I want to expand the air chamber by making more space in the pump guide.
does anyone do this?

It's not that hard to do yourself with a drill, but anyone with a drill press should be able to do it

Doable, but since it is going to be under pressure, I would leave it to a professional to ensure the walls are uniform and not too thin.
JCurt would probably do the work and he will give you the best price.

Yep, and if the guide is already drilled out and all you're doing is enlarging it a little bit, you don't even really need a drill press.
Just take your time and use each bit sequentially to avoid going out of alignment.
I did this on my WWA ultra mini kit as well as enlarging the valvechamber of my Superbolt.
I ended up being able to drop the working pressure by at least 50psi, but I think most of it was the passage in the body more than the guide rod.

I'll have to take pictures of my little brother's orry on the inside. I drilled it out using a drill press. I could do the same for you.

cmon castro...
I just haven't touched my PB gear in a long long time. I don't have access to a chrono and air so I just left it there.

Right, but it seems like everyone offering help at this point isn't reading anything, and I'd rather not simply close this.

I finally tested the pump guide drilling.
over the chrono, before the drilling, i was shooting about 245-250.
afterwards, I'm shooting at 255-260.
so there is about a 15 fps increase. not too shabby for just simply increasing the pump guide.

I'm not sure how much larger it can go safely, but if you're interested, give me a shout.
