Demon FSDO Issues
As it says last weekend I was having FSDO issues any help would be great
Weather that day:
Overcast, 65-70 F, avg 62% humidity, windspeed 5-22 mph
Description:
If the gun sat for longer than ~2 minutes without being fired the gun would barely cycle, usually resulting in a double feed the next shot. Holding a stream the gun shot just fine.
Original settings on the gun:
all stock
Dwell: 15
debounce: 5
eye delay: 3.0
Eye sensitivity: 10.00
Bolt delay: 8.00
Fsdo time: 10sec
Fsdo dwell: 1.5
Loader pulse: 20ms
bolt and all orings lightly lubed in monkey poo
Things I tried at the field:
-turning up fsdo dwell up to 5ms
-switching to a completely charged battery
The problem still persisted on the field the whole day but when I got home it did not see to have the issue when dry firing. Is there anything else I should try? Is dow 55 better for fsdo issues? Should I try more lube? How important is oring fitment? I believe the ones in there were the stock ones.

YES Dow 55 will help cause it will swell the drive oring in the can.
I would recommend that use of lube is alittle heaveyer than some markers on the bolt.
I would also replace the rear sail oring in the can. This oring is the 019 on the inner rear of the can.
Turn your Fsdo time back to 10sec and Fsdo dwell back to 1.5-2ms max.

We noticed in vegas the colder it got the more Fsdo we got. But lube and adjustment of fsdo dwell to 1.5-2.0ms cured the issue

Even then the FSDO wasn't a huge issue. But more lube in the cold was getting it done.

These past weekends I've been playing in the rain and I've got say I did lube just a little heavier and upped my Fsdo dwell to 1.5. I had no issues at all. Actually I was scared playing in the rain that something would go wrong but nothing did. I feel bad for my teamates as they all had all kinds of issues. The demon once again showed its great performance.

We played our last tourney of the year here in Oregon at the beginning of Nov. It was terrible weather, cold (40ish), raining, just miserable. This was our first test of the Demon in this weather. The weather always kills spool valves here, even our old Luxes....
The Demon however was a different story. Didn't even turn on my FSDO, none of us did. We have (5) Demons shooting flawlessly all day. We were shooting DXS Silver and I think we only broke two balls. Most everybody else was blending paint like margaritas.

I know one of my friends mixes dow55 with some gun oil in cold weather for his demon. Seems to be working quite well. His FSDO is off and I believe his dwell was at 13.

I play in Michigan and recently got a Demon, had same issues. I tried everything you have to no end, removed all the monkey poo off the bolt and can and put on Sl33k and it works excellent now.
