which hopper is better, and I already have an ion deciding if I want blitz instead

I would keep the Ion over the Blitz. Upgrade parts are dime a dozen for the Ion in the bst here. I just got a Strange bob body for under $30. I also got a Deadly Winds body for $30 not long ago. I have mostly moved on to Bob Long or other high end guns but there's always an Ion around to loan or use as back up. Lots of people don't like them because they're SP but they are decent guns, great considering what you can get and upgrade them for. And once they're tuned, with a decent bolt, they shoot pretty damn good. And the configurations you can set them up in is only limited by your imagination.

As for the hopper, which one do you have? They're both decent hoppers.

2. i currently own a v lo jr trying to get a dynasty chip for it maybe. i heard halo's aren't that great with ions and yea. but for my ion what should i do to tune it?

2. The Halo works fine with Ions, that's what my 3 friends use with their's and what I used with mine when I had it. But the Jr with a Dynasty chip will do just as well as the Halo and save you money since you'd only need the chip.

As for tuning and such, not much you need to do when it's stock. If you start upgrading, then you need to tinker with some settings.
