I am looking at both and can't decide which one is better? Anyone tried both? what are the differences besides the foregrip virtue comes with a nice metal door also.

been wondering the same. I am leaning towards the empire Redline, simply cause it is not 'aftermarket'. For the money I'd say its worth it more then then virtue.

The Virtue is a quality product but the Redline comes with a complete foregrip that is milled for comfort. The Redline OLED screen is also more durable.

While I dont have any experiance with the Virtue version, Team Infamous and myself have been using the redline grip for the entire season and it has preformed flawlessly. We love the location of the screen and the all of the built in software features. Easy scrolling and intuitive menu.
If you choose the redline, I guarantee you wont be disapointed.

I wouldn't say all appearance. U get a better button for control and navigation, better screen placement and more comfort. I've seen/ handles burn but not played with them. Just in seeing and tinkering with them I lime the Redline better.

I've tried both the Virtue and the Redline. I think for what you are paying for the Virtue, the Redline is a much better deal, you get the whole foregrip and yes it is more comfortable.
I played with the virtue and there is nothing wrong with it but I just didn't like having the window on the door side of the marker. When you grip it your palm puts pressure on the plastic window and pushes it in and it tends to come loose. I ended up securing it with electrical tape and it worked pretty well.
That being said, having the window on the inside edge of the grip like the redline, you can read the window from a shooting position and you are not putting pressure on it with your hand. I also have found the navigation easier with the Redline via the D-pad.
I can't speak to the 7th Element but if the window is on the side I can see the same issues as with the Virtue. However I do hear that it's a lot cheaper too so that might be a good option for the budget minded.

How is the battery life on the redline compared to the virtue?

Pretty much the same really, so far I'm not seeing any difference at all. Virtue claims to have a super low power consumption however.

Keep in mind Virtue also respects a Lifetime Warranty on all their products. Thats what makes this decision a tough one. However, Empire does have great Customer Support so if something were to happen I would hope they'd have you covered but I can't make any guarantee's.
