re entering airsoft
due to money issues im getting out of paintball and going back to airsoft. when i quit the first time. Tokyo Mauri was king along with classic army and UTG and ics. at the time Cyma ares umarex JG and Echo 1 were lower quality, but echo 1 def seemed to be the front runner.
im still living in the stone age i suppose, but i have some reserved feelings towards these lower quality guns from past experience when they were truly the lowest of the low, however, they seem to be dominating every site i ever bought from now.
can anyone bring me back into the loop? as much as id like to purchase a tokyo mauri again if i can get a cheaper alternative of similar quality id rather do that.
edit: im not asking for specific guns per say, just a general opinion of these companies that i once knew to be the worst.

Classic Army just went out of business a few days ago so I'd avoid them. For a less cost choice I'd check out Echo1, G&G, and even JG stepped their game up a lot. If you have some more money to spend look into G&P, Magpul PTS, and if you have over 1k to spend: Systema.

They definitely have gotten better. I tried the new Echo1 pdw with the split gear box, honestly I can't tell the difference between that and G&G my buddy has. You get what you pay for I guess.
