Scenario is as follows:
The year is 2020. The United States no longer exists as a world power. The planet has been thrown into various sects of nomadic groups that have become scavengers and survivalists. The world economy had flailed and finally collapsed by 2016 and money has become worthless. All militariess have dissolved through lack of funding and these various sects have traded and obtained many of those weapons previously used to protect the great nations.
Each of these sects send out scouts and troops to obtain/scavenge for goods to bring back and protect and better their society's standard, power, and survivability. These groups take what they can from one another, while goods shift, back and forth, between groups in continued warring and attacks. Human life is no longer sacred and, when survival instincts kick in, only the strong are left to survive.
In the southeastern area of the formerly great United States, near the coast what was once considered Georgia, an alien space craft has crash-landed. This is not the first time this has happened in the recent past. Since late 2013, there have been many sittings of UFO's and alien contact has been verified multiple times since 2017. These aliens have shared their technology with a few tribal sects out west and those sects are dominating their landscape with this new technology.
Sect: 95E and Sect: 16N occupy the surrounding area of the crash and are moving in to retrieve any technologies that will help their sects. Most, of these crashes have a wealth of alien technology that can help these individuals rebuild their society's comfort and resources.
The space crafts are often equipped with a large fusion generator that will provide unlimited electrical power to the living area of the sect that possesses it. This is a greatly needed commodity, as the power grid failed shortly after 2016.
The ships are often equipped with tremendous stocks in first-aid/regeneration packets which instantly heal human flesh and injuries. There are also generous stocks in food and hydration systems that create clean water from air elements.
These alien ships are made from a material that is impervious to any ammunition that has ever been created by humans. This material is extremely sought after as a shield in fire fights between sects.
Two aliens are presumed dead on site, but one remaining pilot shows signs of life and can help enlighten the sect that rescues it with knowledge of their technology.
Each of the Sects has one goal in mind, to bring back the reactor and obtain as many useable components from the ship as possible.
