My now squad leader would quote the NCO creed to our then squad leader (now squad leader was team leader at the time) and the then squad leader would get pissed the **** off lol..
Also.. I walk like half a mile to the civilian ****ing showers to get warm water... much nicer in there too.

I think it pisses them off so much because they know they are wrong. I mean seriously... who the **** respects a "leader" who tells his soldiers to go shave/wash with watter bottles so he can take a hot shower? We get so many "do the right thing"/ "take the hard right over the easy wrong"/ "take care of your soldiers'/ "we are all one team" speeches around here but they never seem to apply to anyone e7 or higher.

Herm.... seems like people at most every level need to learn to say "NO".
Glad to see that now that we don't need a million LTs/ CPTs running around there will be less of them... sadly as soon as we get in the **** again I'm sure all the standards will be tossed right back out.... oh.... that's the new thread name.
