This has been a question that has been haunting me for awhile...

Which is better: in terms of reliability, and consistency, but mainly accuracy.

1. Slightly upgraded etek 3 am (immortal board and new bolt/ rammer) new barrel?

2. axe pro (or just an axe with new bolt and barrel)

3. others that are closely related?

4. etek lt with new bolt and rammer

Accuracy is completely based on the paint to bore match, so if you get the same barrel for both, they will shoot the same accuracy. Now consistency will vary based on the gun. Both brand new will be somewhate inconsistent because they are not broken in. After both are broken in, as long as you maintain the reg properly and match your paint to bore, you will be consistent.

I own an Axe and I love it. Its smooth, feels great in the hands and havent had a single thing go wrong with it. I love the Relay and the bolt out the back too, they are a little cheaper too

Player: 90% Marker: 10%

It wont matter if you get the axe or etek3, neither one is better then the other.

Go to your local field, you will find players with axes and eteks. Ask them to try out the marker maybe for a game, and make your decision when you actually hold the marker in your hands.

Everyone will give you their biased opinion, and it misleads other players thinking gun A is much better then gun B.

Personally, i own an axe since i was in a similar dilemma as you are in atm. The etek3 just wasnt for me...
