And see how they rip apart photos........honesty is the best policy and everyone is entitled to their opinions.
for the record, POTN is the worlds worst place for honest critique. They don't rip apart photos, they stare at the 100% crops for an hour, tell each other their **** doesn't stink and then go spend 5k on **** they don't need and then tell each other about it. That is the last place you should go for critique, I know multiple people on here have been banned for going their and being honest with people by telling them that their photos suck when they suck
I understand that everyones a critic, regardless of your skill level or knowledge of the topic you're critiquing. But rules are ment to be broken. They're simply guidelines to help out people. How boring would it be if everyones shot followed the same rules? It would be an eye sore.

"Originally posted by tremis: I love the self righteousness of the photographers with the claim that they "created" a photograph. Delusional at all? The law may ignorantly side with the photographer, but the subject has done the vast majority of the work and they dont get any credit/royalties." I take hipster photos on Instagram - @hobbesthetiger
no no no! The one with the kids and the guns!!! At first I was so confused with what those kids had to do with VW, then I saw you posted another photo
They live a few blocks from my house. On my way to work I heard the familiar "twang" of airsoft being shot at road signs. I asked if I could take their photo, which they were more than happy to pose for. It was a good way to start a roll, haha
When something is blown out, thats not good (edit the area). What program are you using to edit? I would like to have seen the whole camera, equally all around and it perfectly perpendicular if you want to get picky. I undertsand you wanted to blur the background but I think you focused more on that then the photo and the lense numbers are still somewhat blurred a tiny bit. I would want to see a cripser shot too. What ISO were you shooting at?

alright
#1 looks like an over-processed under-exposed image, with some strange exposure artifacting going on the back of that guys hoodie.
#2 dig the colour and mood though i feel like it lacks a subject and a purpose. If the subject is the rock, whats the purpose of shooting that rock in relation to the background and why do the rock and background work well (or not so well) together?
#3/4 looks like some portraits to me.
#5 dont really have an opinion on this one
