Hey guys! I have an original SL-68 made by tippmann! I was wondering how you change the FPS

Should be a 3mm screw on the side of the bolt that adjusts the velocity.

Just a long-time owner of an SL-68II, then looked at a picture of a "I". Looks like the same bolt. One thing I've found on my II is that the mainspring loses it's tension after a number of years, making it impossible to get the velocity up above 220 eventually. Stretching it helps, but at a certain point it just has to be replaced. Honestly, I've never really liked the "block the air flow" method Tippmann used for adjusting the velocity.

I had a couple of SL-68s pass through my hands and I can't remember any of them having the bolt choke velocity adjustment that the II has.

Velocity changes would have to be made in the old-fashioned way, with spring swaps.

Wonder if maybe Infinity's SL has "II" guts....

Maybe.
I think they're compatible.
I know that the barrels are slightly different; the II has a slightly longer shank than the I.
Or was it the other way around...
