I dont know if anyone has any interest in this so ill keep this thread short and sweet. Would any other teams like to push for a pump division? the use of pump is rapidly spreading throughout the east. I know myself and many other teammates who love the GPL/MAPL series, yet still find ourselves making a trip to the NEPL once a year just to play pump. I think itd be great to get a 3 man pump division set up for the upcoming season.

yeah, way to much planning goes into making to NEPL trip. besides GPL>NEPL any day

I would love to get into pump if their were a league near by (GPL/MAPL), only bad part is getting a wider range of support.

Well I'm glad we got some support! It's just an idea as of now, hopefully some others will support this, and we'll be able to set up a serious discussion with oxcc and the gpl/mapl in the future

Team kurupt will give our full support. I think it would be great to do. Only thing is tho how will they be able to fit that in? Its already a 2day event with just 5/3 alone.

^a reasonable concern... The way nepl did it was split it up during 3 man games, because there were more 3 man teams than pump teams, it alternated two 3 man games, then a pump game, we could also use this as an attempt to push for another field to be in use during 3 man

It's just all up to the guys/girls who run mapl, that's the first step for them to show interest

Its something that is becoming bigger. A few of my team memebers and I use to play speedball for the longest time but then went to pump because its cheaper and alot more fun. I hope mapl would have a pump event or two instead of having to travel far to play a pump event.

I'm right there with you, I actually started out as a pump player, and I've had to go up to the nepl in Boston to play, I think the mapl could absolutely get more teams signed up than any other series

how is nepl thought about trying it sometime, right now we are still putting stuff together to play mao and possibly world cup pump next season

When I went it was a 5 man and only 5 teams signed up, but all in all it was a good and inexpensive tournament
