Favorite pro team would have to be a mix bettween dynasty and legion. I know this sounds like a cop out answer but let me explain. Our goal is to take what makes these two teams the best and combine them to make ourselfs better. Dynasty brings a team dynamic that is unrivled, and an ability to work together to get themselves out of any situation. Legion's work ethic and machanics are unmatched and this also makes them the best. So these to attrabutes make these two teams my favort. The give every team alot to learn from.

I'm glad to see this stated by a prominent player. There are far too few people around here who are willing to show up and work at practice, IMHO.

If the league rules on protected colors changed again, would you guys go back to the good ol' yellow? Or stick with the new color scheme?

I also agree that the work needed to make a great team gets glossed over.

Along those lines, I was wondering if there was going to be any change in logos or colors since going from D1 to pro.

Never!

And as far as color goes, we only went with green because yellow became banned. I would love to go back to old school colors.

Our logo changes a bit now and then. But it always has the basic font created for the team.

I am excited to see what nick (our capt and personal graphic designer) has in store for our pro division gear.

as far as the frog hat, it may make an apperance if the weather is right and i remeber to have it in the gear bag but unless we hit an event in a down pour i wouldnt expect to see the frog hat

If you had to pick up an additional pro player to add to your roster, and you could pick any player in the world, who would it be and why?

When the time comes, how will you guys go about filling you roster in the future? Is it more likely that you will scout other areas or teams, or stick with homegrown talent?

We believe strongly in the Homegrown nature of our team. By building up the local talent we've been able to practice together as a team every weekend. Yes - players miss practice from time to time, but for the most part we have all our players at all our practices.

The team also refs the foXball events held at Fox 4 Paintball as part of their sponsorship. Wouldn't make much sense to either allow players (outside region) to skip this responsibility or to have to fly them in for it.

While I won't rule out picking up outside talent, I am strong against it and will do everything within my power to stay local.

There are severl players in the area with PRO experience. We may look to one of them to come onboard and help with our experience level a bit.

As for looking for players in the future, the best advise I can give is to play at Fox 4. This is our home field. This is where we spend a majority of our practice time. Come out and play in the rotations, get noticed, get to know the players on 187 and let them get to know who you are.

Just to add to what dave has said,

we believe VERY strongly in Chemistry of the team. Personality and ability to get along with everyone on the team is a HUGE fctor in who we have on the team. I get made fun of all the time for call our team a group of brothers, but that is what we are. I have never been on a team (in multiple sports ranging a LOOONG time) that I truly enjoy hanging out with away from paintball. just look at out OT thread, we are already planning a huge Snowboarding trip this winter (we went on one last winter as well)

I do honestly feel this close bond is a major factor in our success (talent and hard work play a big role as well just wanted to make this side note)

so when/if we look at adding players we not only look at talent level but how they mix with our group

Haha. Well its not THAT extreme. But do you consider wind sprints fun? Or repetitively running and gunning to a corner fun? We have a blast while filling up etc. But the overall nature of practice is work to get better.

I am 100% noone would pay good $$ to rent equipment at a bachelor party to go run drills. So in a sense. It is not fun.

Definition of fun

fun/fən/Noun: Enjoyment, amusement, or lighthearted pleasure: "anyone who turns up can join in the fun".

So the answer for me is every time I pick up a paintball gun I have fun. I, as well as others on the team, get so much enjoyment from knowing we shot someone out while running and gunning to our bunker. Knowing that it takes repetitive practice to be able to consistently shoot someone while running makes it fun for me to practice. And while doing these drills it is fun to see how many times you shot someone or how many turns in a row can you hit someone.

I may be a lil nutty but wind sprints are fun too, knowing what the end goal is and how much they are going to help make it fun for me.

We have so much that we can improve I can't wait to get our game to the next level. I know we haven't even come close to our full potential.

Personally I am so motivated for next season and will be giving everything I got to be the best I can - with a lil push from the tranimal. We as a team can do so much more than we have in the past and if we can get everyone on the same page - our legacy will live on forever.
