co2 DAMAGING?

i know that plenty of people use co2 with their vibe. that does not answer my question. i want to know if the solenoid is really rated for co2 use and if the shoot down i am getting with co2 is because of the noid getting cold or the reg sticking. Oh and any vibe specific pointers are welcome. I am fairly new to this gun i just picked it up over the weekend for $40. once i figure out these little gremlins it will make a great gun.

My first question would be are you using the wedge that came with the Vibe to keep your co2 tank tilted? Second, what kind of shootdown are we talking here? How much of a loss are you experiencing? Third, what type of battery are you using and is it brand new? Fourth, do you have the marker set to use co2 (involves removing the battery and reconnecting it while you hold the power button down)?

A lot of questions, i know, but the more we know, the more we can help. The Vibe is rated for co2 (solenoid included).

As for pointers, there isn't much to these markers. That's why I love mine and will always keep it. Make sure you keep the bolt lubed with dow 33 and use fresh batteries and there not much else I can say. Upgrades aren't as extensive as the ion but you can still make these into powerful markers.

no i am not using the wedge...the stock asa cuts orings and leaks non stop from the bleed hole. so i ave an old simple one. the battery is a fully charged 9.6v i use them in all my guns. i am not sure if it is set to co2 i didn't set it that way. as for the shoot down i am begining to think is from the co2 freezing up in the gun. it starts as the gun gets cold and then it gets to the point where it won't shoot with just one pull of the trigger. i don't plan on using cot in it for the long run. i have plenty of hpa tanks they were just all empty when i got the gun.

The easiest explanation I have is that you have liquid co2 going into your marker. That's why the wedge was there, to tilt the co2 tank and make sure the liquid stays out.
