Gun shoots great, but then suddenly jams without fail. I ran a bag through it with no problems the day I got it, but first day on the field and this garbage happens to me every game. Sometimes the paint breaks sometimes it doesn't. Here are some pics:

is your Hoppers feed neck cut shorter? the feedneck should stay the stock length b/c its measured to match the balls that fall, so if you remove a 1/4 inch then you've moved the line of balls down your feednech 1/4inch.

If not, then your hoppers batteries may be dying.

either way this is a hopper issue

Not that I'm aware of. I bought it used, but it doesn't appear to be cut. Also, brand new batteries.

I was thinking it was likely a hopper issue as well, but figured it was likely to do with the feedrate. In fact, I mentioned that I ran a couple o bags through it the day I got it and that was a different hopper. Thanks for the lead.

no problem, also check your sear to make sure there is not a build-up of lube from the bolt. If there is, it will cause the bolt to slip off of the sear occasionally.

When you clean the gun after EVERY day of play, remove the frame from the body and clean the sear too

I disassembled it last night and didn't see any buildup there. Also, this only happens when I start firing very rapidly.

have you changed any settings on the board? reset everything to stock and see if that helps.
Also on your hopper if it has adjustable feed rate/force, turn it up. It should be set too light so its not feeding fast and hard enough to load the next ball before he bolt moves forward again

I have. I'll reset and see if that helps. I'll also test with another hopper and post results later.

I can't figure out how to adjust my hopper speed. It's a Halo B with an Empire shell.

Used a different loader (another halo b) and I ripped through about half the loader and was beginning to think that was the problem when it finally jammed.

I reset to tourney mode (flip dip switch 1; semi-auto, 13bps, 10 trigger sens) and reloaded hopper 2 and ripped through the entire hopper with no jams or breaks.

Reloaded hopper 1 with same results. Seems to have fixed the problem. Kinda lame though that I can really use the boards settings w/o the gun jamming.

Had the same problem, in my case it was the middle bolt o-ring. It was alittle age worn and flatten, my gun would some times shot two times per trigger pull because the bolt was not being push all the way back past the sear.

Even if you have not put much paint through your gun dose not mean the O-rings are still 100%
