NT10 Board problem

So I picked up an nt from one of my teammates that hasn't been used since may. The first thing i do is put in a fresh quality energizer battery and as soon as the battery touches the pegs the led turns to a dim red. Ive also used a Duracell battery no difference.

When I push the on button it sometimes turns green or yellow it sort of has a mind of its own. No, I am not in the programming mode.

It won't fire or pretty much do anything. There is no eye recognition with or without the eyepipe.

Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks

New board is $40 from DYE. It might be cheaper and faster just to buy it.

Yeah that's probably what we're gonna do, just wondering if anyone else has encountered this problem.

A few people have posted issues but I dont remember if they are similar to yours. Searching should bring up some threads to compare to.

PS- Search the forums and you may be able to pick up a Virtue redefined board for $60.
