***Saying Goodbye***
Since 1998 and after 13 seasons of hanging out with Cyndi, Brian, and all of the GPL/MAPL staff my time has come to a close. I remember when it all started in my 1st GPL season in 98' with my long time teammate (Whitey) with the Dream Warriors which was captained by the legendary Jon Campi (the man who taught me how to understand this game). We finished our 1st season of the survivor series in 7th overall in the standings. After many more seasons and so many team changes I was able to continue playing in this long lasting great East Coast series. I am so glad to have had the honor of being one of the players of many teams that "PUT" this great league on the map along with Minute Men, Terminal Velocity (which was lead by Captn' Carl), Reckless Rebels (Squeeky), Robinhood, & Turbulance (lead by our very own Bergie). Now it's up to all the new great teams (Clutch, Illuminati, Freedom, Jersey Resurrection, & Kamikaze/Take Notes) to "KEEP" this awesome series on the map. These were by far the most fun years of my playing career in this league. Yes, I have played & won all over and in many different leagues but, this league is very special to me for the simple reason it always felt like HOME!
Thank you to a great league and even better people,
~Michael "Doo-Na$ty" Davis

I never met you personally but it's always sad to hear someone is retiring. Especially someone with your reputation. Hopefully you can still come around to visit.
By the way, I remember Jon Campi from when I worked at Carl's and still have Chris Ternove's Terminal Velocity jersey. Small world...

Only met you this season, but had a blast all year. Awesome down to earth guy.
Best of luck this event, and with everything after!

I LOVE YOU DOO!! I am so happy and proud to be the last event you are playing in. I am also proud to say that I was a great part of your paintball career. From Dream Warriors with Campi and his glasses taped in the middle and his lovely old school mask (god I am feeling old now too...)... Being there with all those teams you played on. I am so thankful to have met you and Brianne and have been apart of your life.. Good Luck with everything going on in your life and know that there is ALWAYS a spot in the GPL/MAPL and in my heart for you and your family.. <3

It was great playing against you and getting to know you a little bit this season. Never like to see anyone leave, but it was great to have you around
