microsoft would it kill you to make an xbox that doesnt break so often

I just bought a USB 360 controller to use with my PC. It's awesome when the game calls for it. Clearly you would never use it for a shooter or RTS, but racing games, sports games, emulators, and stuff like that it works very well.

I had one of the original ones for four years and it broke once, a year and a half before I got the new 250GB one which is yet to give me any trouble in the eleven months I've had it. The original one was back from MS in two weeks, cost $100 to fix.

I purchased a used Xbox 360 a year after release and have played it ever since, never had to send it in for anything, so I dunno man.
