I think I may give some more time to the beta tomorrow. Been playing a lot of SWTOR.

Well i've been playing the beta for the past hour haha, i can run it, on 640xXXX without problems, fail, and i have 2 8800s? other than that, the glitches blow

Gray screen, random flashlights? in the middle of the map, the usual.

Squads seem different, i kinda of like it, from my understanding you can spawn on multiple people?

Yeah just click onto whichever player in the squad, and spawn.

I don't understand some people's use of flashlights. In tunnels and indoors, yes it works. Outside, in the bushes laying prone...? I take out several people every game because I can spot that damn flashlight from a mile away.

My guess is just people too lazy to swap weapons. I've been guilty of this for maybe a round before I unlocked something other than the flashlight.

Does anyone else feel like they have to click deploy like 10 times before they actually deploy? Even when it's done saving, it the button still seems unresponsive.

I lulz every time a sniper or someone with a flashlight is prone and being "sneaky" in the bushes. Most of my knife kills come from people like that.

You can turn the flashlight and laser pointer off... default button for this is T.

Also yes, I have to click the **** out of deploy to actually spawn. It is stupid as ****.

edit: prob gonna get a 16 slot vent/ts server tonight for just VLN members since Battlelog is going bat****

I can't stand being a noob in this game. BC2 I molested every map. But this one map sucks.

I've installed and uninstalled the Beta 3 times because I hate it so much.

The deploy thing is a bug. There should be a countdown timer, but it doesn't always show up. You do have to wait a bit before you can spawn again.

I dont have a problem deploying.

I do have a problem deploying and getting shot by a level 41 sniper every time i deploy though.

So how addicting is this? I have been waiting for months to play, but I haven't downloaded the beta yet because I need to spend my time doing other things.

I have 20 something hours in the Beta...

Only 3 of which were on Caspian Border. The other 17+ are Operation Metro...

It is quite addicting for me.

Will the stats reset for the full game? If so, I might just skip the beta and wait for the release. I wish I had more free time.

Stats will reset. Not worried about it because its not hard to rank up in this game... only thing I will miss is my sick selection of custom dog tags.

I'm actually having a great time. I think I have like 10 hours played now. I have no qualms playing metro over and over as long as the teams are decently balanced.

I'm not a seasoned BF veteran so the map doesn't bother me. The underground part of metro is actually my favorite part of the map, and I almost always put up great numbers and get lots arms/disarms. The city and outside part are annoying since 99% of the playerbase is proned in bushes/buildings. I don't have the patience for that crap.

I've loved metro so far. It's a great combination of utilizing different gameplay elements to achieve your team's goals. Going from long range, open field gameplay to very hectic, short-range alley-ways, to a tiny box of mayhem to urban warfare... I think the map is fantastic and very dynamic. Can't wait to try out the other ones.

Metro can be very fun it just doesn't feel like a battlefield game to me.

That being said, I really love when teams are pretty even and battles get down to the last stage. When there are good squads on both teams, the game can be very very fun to play.
