Any up date on a merger?
Before DC there was a lot of talk about the merger. Even Pev mentioned it a few time in posts. Where's it stand now?

I doubt we will hear anything about a merger until after world cup.

You haven't heard anything new because honestly there's nothing to tell... Please remember that 99.9% of the stuff that you hear on pbnation and similar sites are just rumors. I'm not saying that there haven't been talks regarding a merge but if I were you I wouldn't expect a firm decision either way for quite a while.

Well, there are a few things that are bigtime hush hush regarding this. And the details I do know and can say is after Vegas big things will happen. Next season will be interesting to say the least.

I will tell you this from a business standpoint. Its best for both companies to do their due diligence in a merge otherwise the new combined company will have serious issues and could possibly fail, which would be a huge blow to paintball on a national level.
For anyone who doesn't know what due diligence is in terms of business, it basically means that each party will look into the other party's operations and cash flows in order to better understand their side and to make sure they know what they're getting into if they go through with a merge. Failure to complete proper due diligence again is like going out into a battlefield blind.
This needs to be a long and productive process, especially since paintball is teetering on the fence, financially speaking.

propaintball in my opinion has a biased view. seems like they always sway towards psp and only got opinions of lane wright. id like to hear both sides of the story cause im hearing things from each league. |

Propaintball.com is not much different than pbnation when it comes to this subject... neither site has any concrete info.
Unless you hear it from PSP Officials like Lane or Camille and NPPL Officials like Chuck or Pev you should assume that 99.9% of it is BS.
Be patient and just wait for it to happen. This is a huge business decision and will take time to work out, if it works out at all. |

idk what got you so but this is what im saying. dont just listen to propaintball or just lane's interview. until all the facts are out and both sides are saying the same thing i wouldnt assume anything.
also it's easy to say be patient, but after cup and vegas is the time people start looking into sponsorship ideas. you cant keep waiting then expect everyone to get sponsors, jerseys, and a team (depending on format) together a short amount of time.

DIDNT YOU GUYS HEAR, THE MERGER WILL BE COMPLETE TOMMOROW AT MIDNIGHT.. then the news breaks that psp5 + nppl7 = 12 man paintball for world cup!! sorry for the short notice.. but we didnt want the other leagues to find out our master plan.... 100 bunkers.. 170 x 150
