Do most of you get rental cars or just cab / walk if u want to go out at night?

Any idea how much a cab costs from the aiport to the riviera?

cabs. rental car from the airport to the field should be 20$ but a lot of those drivers are scumbags and loop the whole city to ring up the bill, so it could be as much as 40$ or 50$. just tell them youve taken the ride before, take the most direct route, and last year it was only 20$ to where you are going.

I've been to vegas like 8 times for events. The last two times I did the cab route. So much easier. Plus between some casinos there is a railcar that goes between a few. The only way I would do a rental is if I wasn't staying at the event hotel. Beyond that... Pick me up Cabby!!!

From the airport you can take a bus which goes to the strip and will drop you off at your hotel and if you prepay for the return trip, they will pick you up and take you back to the airport. Other than that we walked the strip a ton of times. If we wanted to go some where else we took a cab.

MINIONS is spot on about cab drivers pulling some shady stuff. Twice they've tried that with me. Each time I said here's $20, if it's not enough I guarantee you don't go home to your family tonight. Magically the fare turned into $20...weird how that works.

Another option is limos. If you have 3 or more people, it can be just as cost effective.

Rentals are a waste of time, you spend more time waiting at a light then driving. Unless you need to go to Old Town or Henderson there is no point if your on the strip.

I took the shuttle from airport to hotel, it was cheap but the drivers are pokey and they stop at all of the hotels so it can take awhile.

if you have more than 5 people you can call some limo services and they will send a driver for a cheaper fare than two taxis.most are expensive but if you shop you can get a decent fare

Take a cab to/from the airport. Quickest way, Junkie is right its about $20.
Going out at night, have a plan before you start. Taking a cab between hotels is $5-$10 but don't waste your time or the cabbies to ride to the next hotel. Save it for getting back late at night.

One last thing. When you get into a cab at the hotel tell the cabbie to avoid the strip. Theres plenty of back roads, allys and short cuts. If you get on the strip in a cab plan on adding $20 to the ride.

I took the bus thing from the airport to the Riviera and it was $8. Then just walked around when I wanted to go somewhere. The 1 cab ride I did cost me $8 and it took me about 300 yards.

Last year my team got a limo(since it was an hour wait for the shuttles) and it only cost us about $8 per person. Then the riviara I believe has a shuttle service that brings visitor to the airport for free after checkout
