knifed over a paintball gun? Anyone know this guy?

ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich -- The Oakland County Sheriff's Office said a meeting arranged to sell a paint ball gun turned violent Monday evening when the potential buyer pulled out a knife.

According to the report, the seller of the paint ball gun met two men on the 2300 block of Rochelle Park to talk about a sale. An argument broke out and one of the men stabbed the seller in his right leg, deputies said.

The men also threatened the seller's mother and sister with a knife as they got away in a gray Honda vehicle, the report said.

Descriptions of the two attackers were not given.

The victim was treated and released from the hospital.

I bet it was just some trashy people meeting to sell something like a cheep Tippy for some drugs or something, i use to live in Oakland county it wouldn't surprise me!

The moral of the story is-

If you are meeting up to sell your paintball marker, keep it loaded until the money is in your hand, Then toss it out the window to the buyer as you drive away.

LOLZ I was going to disagree because the kid brought his mom and sister along ( they were threatened ) but as much drug trade as there is in the burbs now... it's very possible

This story is ridiculous and completely absurd. I'm inclined to agree with Steve on this one, you just can't trust people anymore.

Keep an eye out for "Lorenzo" in his "Gray Honda" if you're selling gear on craigslist...

needs more details of what happened ! can't c what really happened and when the papers don't print much and leave things so unsettled then u can bet there is more to the story ! sounded like a first grader wrote the story !

I'm guessing the original story was submitted to the editor in crayon. This is the same site that regularly posts grainy photos of bank and 7-11 robbers 4 days after the fact and asks the public to be on the look out for them.

This story is a reminder of why I always make sure I'm (legally) strapped with 147grain hollow points when I meet people from Craigslist or engage in any dealings with potentially shady individuals.

God have mercy on the mother ****er who try's to shank me, cuz I sure as hell won't.

long time ago a guy i swapped phones wiht on Craigslist taught me a good thing. Meet in a police parking lot - deal either goes smooth or doesnt happen at all.

I havent seen a single gun over a mini, ion, or old shocker (generic edition), and ive only seen a handful of those two, on metro detroit craigslist at all, and i religiously check craigslist, the nation, and mcarter brown. i highly doubt it was a legitimate one of XX gun of any sort.

either way, its sad that this had to happen, and put a bad spot on the name of paintball. hopefully the suspects are found, and the victim is okay
