Gold Ups FAQ
What are Gold Ups?
Gold Ups are paid stickies in the BST forum. Gold Ups will stick your thread to the top of the forum for four or more days. This is the single best way to get your thread noticed by more people. It is a proven fact that a Gold Upped item will sell faster simply because more people will see it. To buy Gold Ups, just click on the Gold Ups button at the top of your B/S/T thread. 
Why buy Gold Ups?- Gold Ups are a proven way to sell or buy gear faster here on PbNation.
- Gold Ups allow you to sell new items in the New or Used Equipment / Services Forum.
- Gold Upped items often sell for more money because more people notice it.
How can I get Gold Ups?
Three ways:
Do I have to buy Gold Ups?
Not if you are selling used gear. Gold Ups will help you sell used gear faster and will generally get you more money for it, but they are not required. Gold Ups are required to sell new items on PbNation though. You must list new items in the New or Used Equipment / Services Forum.
How do people get extra Gold Ups to sell?
When you buy an Annual Supporting Membership you get two free Gold Ups with it. You can use these Gold Ups in any B/S/T section. Annual Supporting Members who don't plan to use their two free Gold Ups can sell them. Unused Gold Ups do roll over to the next year if you renew your membership, but they go away if you do not, so please use them before your ASM expires if you don't intend to renew. They will be waiting for you if you ever choose to sign back up though.
How do I buy Gold Ups if they can't be transfered?
Once you purchase a Gold Up, just send the Annual Supporting member a link to the thread you want Upped and they can do it. There is no way to transfer a stored Gold Up.
Can Gold Ups be used outside of the BST sections?
No. Gold Ups are only for the BST sections. We do have News Ups and Scenario Ups for their respective sections but those are not interchangeable with Gold Ups.
What do Gold Upped threads look like?
Threads with the yellow circle with the black up arrow are Gold Upped.  The top three are Gold Upped so they will always appear above the bottom items.
Can I earn feedback for selling or buying Gold Ups?
Yes. Please remember that all feedback rules still apply though.

Gold Up prices vary by forum. The most expensive forums are Gearbags and Electronic Markers I believe and those run well over $5.

Ask a mod to move it and then the thread can be Gold Upped immediately before the system moves it back.

No. People can't store month long Gold Ups. You just purchase those like normal from PbN right through the thread.

Thanks John, as far as adding gold ups, can I keep adding more days to an already upped thread?
Is there also a way to add bst trusted to the top of my thread? (I didn't become bst trusted until after I started the thread.) |

I think you have to wait for the thread to be close to expiring before you can up it again.
You can't add BST Trusted to an old thread. You have to create a new thread.

They activate the minute your payment goes through. Sometimes, it might take up to 5 or 10 minutes but usually it is near instant. Maye sure your payment has processed. If you pay by echeck, you need to wait for the payment to go through.

I've been working on my "PBN pursuit", and I saw that you can win gold ups from this, I was wondering if you can sell the gold ups from the pursuit because I have no need for the atm.
