my brother got a raptor when someone owed him money, the only problem with it is that it didn't come with a elbow. i bought one just the other day for him, i got a "Gen X Global Inc. Elbow with Thumb Screws 45 degree Bent". I'm not very new with paintball so i don't know what to do, the elbow doesn't fit on the gun. one side fits on the gun but i think that side is for the hopper and the other doesn't fit on the gun or the hopper, the side that doesn't fit has ridges in it. i have a feeling this is a real noob question.

There are two sizes to the old feed elbows (well, 4 actually, but 2 are a bit rare). 7/8" which was more common on newer style guns, and 1" which was more common on older guns. The Raptor uses the older style 1" feed elbows. They're more rare these days, but you can still find them. If it doesn't say 1" in the description then what you're looking at is a 7/8" elbow, so don't buy it (well, at least for a Raptor).

well it turns out i bought the 7/8" so that would explain why it doesnt fit.

yeah, you need to find yourself an old VLBow. They had removable inserts that fit both types of feednecks. They're made of solid plastic too, and hold up better than most feednecks.
