Player Re-ranking Announcement

Every event like clockwork, the WCPPL is bombarded with UNSUBSTANTIATED requests to re-rank players. It's not going to happen. Just for the record, you have a greater chance of being struck by lightning. The points system has been set in place to monitor progress and rank players accordingly. Nothing is ever perfect, but this point system is leaps and bounds better than anything that had been instituted in the past (Thank You APPA). It is recommend that teams manage their rosters and review the division restrictions for how many upper division players are permitted per division.

The funny thing is, half the players playing in all divisions in wcppl including d4 i played with and against 4 years ago in xpsl. Scary i kno, make the bump up someday!!

This is how I view the ranking and re-ranking issue. I feel that the Appa points system is fair and non bias. The numbers don't lie. As for reranking players. I have reclassed ONE player. His name is Peter Regundin Aka Rat. He was rostered on a Aftermath roster that he didn't play with. I personally will stake my ne and reputation on the fact that there was a typo in the Appa and chris didn't want to remove the points for that event. He was ranked as a Semi pro player. He was reranked to a D1 with the stipulation that they couldnt use any other D1 players. Besides that reranking or reclassification is OUT of the question for our D4. Period. If the D2 teams want to allow 5 pros per team I don't give a f!!k. But D4 and D3 will be protected for as long as I am running a league. Now I have to keep yelling at Little Bear setting up the fields!

Does appa do the system where after a certain amount of time it lowers your score like nppl does?

Yes it does by a percentage. Like in your case your overall scores will be reduced by %30 becuase of how old your events are.

Just curious why some D3 teams have more then 1 D2 guy rostered? Mainly asking so that I know for next event, so that we can bring players we were not able to bring for this event.

edit: to better find out what I am talking about teams; LVPP.net, Pipestreet Allstars, Royalty, and Sadistic.

i would pm bhreze or mike for the quickest answer. i bet mike is pretty busy so i would go with bhreze.

i dont know the rules for D3, but i know D2 can have 2 D1 ranked players. i would just double check and make sure you cant have 2 D2 ranked players.

Hello! Instead of speculating, why don't you simply read the event thread. That is why it exists, which specifically inidicates divisional limits on rosters.
