DGP on a mac
hello, does anyone know if there is a digital paintball format that will work on a mac?

Unfortunately no. I'm on Mac but I just play DPB as well as all my other Steam games on Bootcamp. It's easy to set up as long as you have a usable copy of windows laying around.

Hi guys,
I don't mean to be a tease, but I know mac support is somewhat of a high-demand feature: I run OS X exclusively, so I can guarantee you that Digital Paintball 2 will have mac support. Don't ask me when we'll be done -- we don't know.  |

if your talking about that silly digital paintball 2 game please remove that post, if your talking about digital paintball 2.1 then thats a different story

I understand, Digital Paintball 2 does not simulate paintball at all, dpb 2.1 is 10x better and this is the thread for dpb 2.1 not dpb 2.0 so don't post up on this thread please, dpb 2.1 is the best paintball game on the internet

Heres one way to get get DPB to work on a mac with out bootcamp
obtain VMware Fusion 3
obtain a working copy of windows to install in fusion 3 - make sure in your settings OpenGL (i believe it comes up as 3D graphics support - i'm not in front of your mac)
install steam, HL and dpb mod
play
only issues I have had is I couldnt use ctrl to duck and move at the same time - solution was to change duck to shift, and change walk to f or something else, should be good to go after that. feel free to pm with any questions
