Thanks for trying at least! Hopefully Pev and the NPPL see the opportunity here to support the other divisions rather than just the pros.

I don't have any control over what Pev will allow. Trust me, I want to practice as well. The closed field outside of Pev's that has the layout is OXCC which is 2.5 hours away. Most of the teams will be traveling in on Thursday and everybody will want to play in the afternoon. I will post when I hear back from Pev.

Non-pro teams will be allowed to play. I have to figure out prices and paint. As of now, I think entry fee will be $50/team but that is not definite yet. I will post more details as they become available.

Ok here's the official word... All teams will be able to play on Thursday before the event. The cost is $50 per team and can be paid by credit card by calling the Pev's Pro shop at (703) 327-7640. Teams will be put on a list and the teams that pay first get on the field first so make sure you sign your team up ASAP!!! The field will open at 9am for practice to begin.

Paint will be $35 per case. Pev's is a "field paint only" field. Pev told me that Pro teams and teams that have exclusive paint sponsorships that plan to practice must have their paint company rep email him to let him know that the team has approval to use something other than field paint. Pev is VERY strict about the "field paint only" rule so please don't try to get around it or your team will likely be asked to leave the field and lose the $50.

I know that some Pro teams are practicing that day too. I am not sure if they have a designated time or not but Pev told me that teams would be able to practice all day.

Called the pro shop. Were team #1.
Here's how the pro shop explained it:
No assigned time slots, when a team is ready they take the field and any team can go with/against them. It's basically a big scrimfest. The exception is pro teams. Pev's will have a "monitor" at the field to help facilitate. Practice field will close at 7:00pm.

Cost is $50 per team. FPO, $35 case, unless paint company contacts Pev.

Apparently most of our team won't be arriving in time to make use of this, however I get there Wednesday night. So if anyone is short a player and needs someone to jump on with them for practice, let me know eh?

JJ I see you are fitting right in with us Canadians. eh!

Toxic should be there around lunch time. You could jump in with us any time. Could always use a different perspective of the field.
