Will the Shocktech Superfly Ion Bolt fit the SP1/G1?

yup, good bolt too, due to the 2 tail o-ring, very efficient on air

Would it be a good addition to stock SP1? Or would it need a QEV and board upgrade to be useful? I have heard the stock bolt is an air hog. Sorry just recently got one in a trade and should make great fall/winter marker.

The bolt inst an air hog, it's just less efficient then dual tail o-ringed bolts. Single tail o-ringed bolts let a little air out upon each cycle. Duals don't. QEV or board will let you drop your efficiency making the bolt that much more effective. Make sure your batteries are new before attempting this.

Plus the shoctech bolt is more efficient due to it being lighter then the stock bolt. Less mass = more air filling the bolt area allowing you to drop your dwell times, which mean using less air from your tank. A qev and a board is needed so you can fine tune your dwell.
