A new era in Canadian competitive paintball begins in 2011
Vancouver British Columbia, September 03, 2010
A new era in Canadian competitive paintball begins in 2011.
In an effort to expand and stabilize competitive tournament paintball in Canada, a newly formed promotion and production Canadian paintball event company has acquired the physical and intellectual assets of several large event companies.
The British Columbia Paintball Players League (BCPPL), has been recently acquired by this new entity and will re-organize immediately following the end of the 2010 season.
They look forward to launching a new season in 2011 with new and exciting initiatives for players, and teams. Utilization of close links to both local and global manufactures, retail stores, national promotional companies and distributors will ensure stability and growth in Canadian tournament paintball starting in 2011.

Yep... details details details... Hope the BCPPL legacy continues... I've enjoyed every BCPPL event I have played to date and would like to see more... grow it by any means... evolve it... but keep the fun factor in the foreground.

I am excited to see what the future brings for BC paintball ... hopefully prices will go down and a Canada wide championship will happen because of this entity.

hopefully its BC paintball. i have no problem travelling to salmon arm to play, but its a bc league. i dont really want to travel to the midwest to play 4 times a year unless prices drop. it would be hard to afford for lots of players.

I'm sure it'll be a setup like CXBL. Different conferences, just under one banner. I'm not sure that i like this, I would like if the information would be presented as well.

If you want to play BOTH conferences, then it's a 7 event season. Other wise it's 3 or 4.

no, if you wanna play both conferences, it would be 9 events. nats, brawl and trip crown are 3 events that arnt E1/2/3 of either conference.

I bet it was Tom Palmer that bought the BCPPL. He wrote the book on paintball. All sale procedes went into the purchase.

Last year Triple Crown added series points to both the MR and BCPPL, Nats and Brawl did not.
