How much would you price this at for a relatively quick sale. it is truly a 1 of 1, with 3 different shops milling in their own touches. also, it is probably the only '03 viking with equal length eye covers.
i will admit though, that in its current state it could use a little tlc. cosmetically, its probably a 4 or 5. powder coat is chipped in several places (these pics are old and dont show the wear). also, a trip to DC would probably do it wonders as well.
but anyways here are the specs, copied and pasted from the original for sale thread that i got it from, many moons ago:
Specs-
• Milled 3 times, 3 different shops
• (1/4" cut off the bottom of the body, internal, round buttcrack, top tube milling, FSP cut, halfmill milling, custom cut body, ect)
• UL frame
• One off tray
• One off 2 piece identical eye covers
• Cut AKA bolt pin
• Cut AKA bolt
• Mini AKA sidewinder
• Blue laser eyes
• Hater symbio board
• Humphrey solenoid
• CCM no rise feedneck
• CP mini ASA
• VP bearing trigger
• MLG macro fittings
• More I am missing

Yeah, I am still really confused. I picked up a V1 that had a different grip frame, but in a nicer color (I guess), without an annoed to match barrel, and I was told $400 to $450. And I sold it for that. Then I got this V1, everything matching, and told that because of the anno, despite the fact that it was cherry with nothing wrong but the slight curvature of the beavertail, I am told $300 to $350. So I marketed it as $350. I had trade offers that pretty much equaled $350-$400 for it. Now, after only eight or so months, it's worth $200? Kinda off there, even if it is just me. I know the economy sucks, but to lose $100-$150 in value in eight months, with no changes seems rather off to me.

it loses value because aka is making new merlins, 9 months ago that information was a rumor.

Considering you paid $200 for it about eight months ago, and it included a bag, tank, hopper, harness and a few other things I don't see why you're that surprised. SA0002 sold on eBay a few months ago for $204.50 ( link). V1's are nice guns, I own one and wasn't trying to insult yours, but they don't have any unique features like an inline slider or merlin spec that V2's have. Also, there were no standard pneumatics, barrel, reg ect. Mike would put on parts either by request, or whatever he had laying around. That being said, with no standard parts, having "stock" parts doesn't really effect the value. It's not like a Westwood having all BBT/Shocktech parts or similar with FreeFlow, Dye, CCM, ANS ect.

This belongs in the mechanical autococker section.
I would comment on the Viking and V1 VLM but pretty much everything has been said.

I think that the only reason that I am so surprised is that AKA is making Merlins, but you can't get a new Revenge. Splat is gone, and Mike is pretty much disappeared from paintball altogether, along with a couple of others out there that knew what they were doing with Splat.

coco, this in an "appraisals thread" not a "fact thread", honestly if you think about it, all we do in here is collectively de-value our own equipment.. of you dont think its worth what they are telling you in here.. dont sell it for that
things are worth what people are willing to buy them for, if you can get more than what your being told its worth.. then its worth what you can sell it for
