So this guy is showing how to make a waterfall/pool out of styrofoam and grout.
I am a very artsy person and could totally do this..
I would be making it for a couple of white's tree frogs for a 20 gallon tall tank.
His website: http://www.lizard-landscapes.com/how...waterfall.html
The video:
Would it be worth doing or should I just buy the typical, boring decorations and water bowl from a pet store?
Since the tank would have a bit of humidity, I would probably put a thin layer of aquarium silicon over the entire thing.
I already have the repto filter so all I would need to do is buy the styrofoam, lock-tight ****, grout, and silicon.
Worth it time wise?
I know what I would need to do, but get this:
Apparently white's tree frogs suck at swimming.
And when they are young they can drown in more then 1/2 an inch of water.
Sooooo if I did the waterfall for the filter, would it be worth it? It is a filter that can handle about 20 gallons of water on its own. So would it be okay to use a filter like that if it wont be circulating much water?
I could deepen the water where the filter goes but block it off to where they cant get in I guess.
I do plan on doing some background scenes like this regardless. The question is the waterfall.

And btw..

imagine that...
Douche, they aren't like most frogs. They have bottomless pits for stomachs. They literally would eat nonstop if they could.
Most other frogs would stop after they are full.
That is why they get FAT.
