Help me identify...
Someone help me identify what kind of dog this is. I'm assuming its a type of mix because of the colors but i don't know what kind.

Yep- Australian Cattle Dog (ACD). Awesome working dogs. Don't see many of them in obedience, tho. At least around here. |

What do you mean? from what i've read, they seem like a handful to raise as a family dog.

Yes, they are. That's why I said working dog.  They're the type of dog that has to have a job or will get bored and become troublesome. I used to see a couple competing in obedience here, but that was a good 20 years ago. |
