He must be extra confused that everything I use is legally prescribed to me

Um, pretty simple explanation. There's no jobs here, so why immigrate?

Obama fixed the economy silly, there's jobs everywhere now. I tripped over a few on my way to my own job this morning.

I just can't believe that people don't see WHY people were immigrating here in the first place. Though our pride wants us to believe it was for freedom and apple pie, its actually much more simple than that-money. There were employment opportunities here and illegal immigrants were taking advantage of them. Now that the economy is in the ****ter and there aren't jobs, why immigrate? Why be a criminal in one country without the benefits of a much better life?

The whole "they did it because they want to take part in the American dream" meme was nothing more than a talking point invented to attempt to put them on a pedestal of nobility. Those who come here to take part in the American dream generally have enough respect to do so legally.

The American Dream is to be successful, it says nothing about fascist-esque pride in the nation-state (America). You'd be surprised how eerily similar some of your posts and Mussolini's writings are.

I love how you brand any sort of national pride as "facist-esque" and make allusions to Mussolini, as if there is only extremes in the world.

I didn't though. I was very specific.
You believe disregarding one law means that a person must have no respect for the country. Talk about extremes.

Nice red herring. I mentioned "some of the things you say".

You fail so hard why do you have to make me look bad? Just let me and Madgoat post like real conservatives.

The "American Dream" doesn't remain possible for others to obtain if we let the country be destroyed by internal rot, illegals, and radical points of view.

If you don't have respect for a nations laws, then how can you say you have much in the way of respect for the nation as a whole? A nation is nothing other than a geographical location fused into a society by a particular set of laws. Without laws there is no nation. But wait "some people speed too u no!!1"...so what's your point? If you don't have respect for traffic laws then you don't get to be on the road for long do you? If you don't respect murder laws how can you say you respect the lives of others? In the same way, if you don't respect laws that are intended to protect the sovereignty and well being of a nation then how in your right mind can you say that you respect that nation? You can't. You are using that nation for your own personal gain and don't even have the respect to do it legally. Then in addition to that you attempt to damage our society (maybe you're old enough to remember may 1st 2006?) and hold us hostage while marching in the streets with flags from your home country and our own flag beneath it. I don't think so, I'll happily smile and wave as you get kicked out on your fat, illegal ***.

You're using Frank Chodorov's quote as my own words? You must think I'm damn smart. The quote is up there for a reason. Chodorov had many classical conservative characteristics, but he would never want to be associated with the average person who identifies as conservative (you, Tuff).

Anyway, your analysis of political philosophy is flawed. You can't equivocate not following traffic laws and immigration laws like that. Sadly, the world isn't black and white. If not following immigration laws makes you have a lack of respect for this country, any instance of not following the legal code of one's country is an act of disrespect. Even more so if it is a native blatantly disregarding the law, given that he IS a citizen, he was raised there, he went to their schools, etc. Now do you understand why this isn't something to be yearned for?

It's in your signature, you obviously think it's pretty legit.

Here's the root of the problem - you think that it's ok to pick and choose which laws you follow based on whether you agree with them personally or not. If everybody acted this way we would be in anarchy, which is what happens when people don't obey laws and they become meaningless. You're not a conservative, you're an anarchist.

We've already shown (again and again) that this 'conservative' mindset that you speak of is a joke. You were asked to show when it was practiced before in history, and gave no example to Swerve I believe. You've since hired madgoat to preach, oddly enough, the same exact message to the same exact two people. Him and I have barely spoken, and yet he's here on PBN trolling with the same exact nonsense you have been. How strange! That's non coincidence at all. Bill would *never* troll here at PBN

Go help more illegals cross the border, you aren't conservative. You're all about illegal aliens, doing drugs, and being unemployed. Those aren't things trademark conservatives like.

Wow, 4 DUI's. But we should allow illegal aliens to keep crossing, right Bill?

This is what happens - they come back. I guess we should wait til get runs over a couple of kids before any action is taken. Right?

Mexico needs to be moved to the Middle East

This is relevant to this thread - speaking of crime and illegals:

http://www.wkrg.com/crime/article/re...2011_12-42-pm/

Quote:
Huge increases in deportations of people after they were arrested for breaking traffic or immigration laws or driving drunk helped the Obama administration set a record last year for the number of criminal immigrants forced to leave the country, documents show.

The U.S. deported nearly 393,000 people in the fiscal year that ended Sept. 30, half of whom were considered criminals. Of those, 27,635 had been arrested for drunken driving, more than double the 10,851 deported after drunken driving arrests in 2008, the last full year of the Bush administration, according to Immigration and Customs Enforcement data provided to The Associated Press.

An additional 13,028 were deported last year after being arrested on less serious traffic law violations, nearly three times the 4,527 traffic offenders deported two years earlier, according to the data.

The spike in the numbers of people deported for traffic offenses as well as a 78 percent increase in people deported for immigration-related offenses renewed skepticism about the administration's claims that it is focusing on the most dangerous criminals.
Second look at Obama?

Do they lose their license or suffer a penalty? Because this guy did not, comes back, and does it once again....until he kills someone.

Are you saying the military houses many people who keep right on driving after a DUI? That's the problem here. Not to mention, our military is our responsibility. Mexican citizens are for Mexico to deal with, not the United States.

Actually LTK pm'd me and we talked it out like adults.

Hey Tuff why don't you just be honest and tell us your job and level of education? You never, ever discuss it, yet I've been completely honest about personal things in my life when asked. Why do you hide?

http://marginalrevolution.com/margin...etter_on_.html

Just so you can understand that almost every economist and most social scientists support more immigration, less strict policies, and what is generally known of as open borders.
