Vicente Cup: Ambush:Sniperz X5 tournament this sunday @ Ambush Paintball....
posting this up for players who have not yet seen it on facebook. We are giving away a dm11, a sick dye prize package, entry's to other local events and $$$ as prizes.

Owen from Snipers and Nic from Ambush have teamed up and will be holding a 3 event X5 series to inject some tournament lively hood into the BC paintball community. This event is meant to be a friendly sort of tournament, and is not intended in any way to detract from other local events. Rather we are trying to positively better the community of those involved in B.C. paintball, and get people playing events again!
We feel the psp inspired x5 format will be a refreshing change from the norm of usual B.C. tournaments. While in usual 5 or 7 man if you get beaten by a team once, then that's it. In X5 you head right back out onto the field, ready for revenge.
Event Schedule:
Event 1 will be on Sunday July 24th @ Ambush Paintball, in Surrey B.C.
Gates open at 830, Captains meeting will be at 930am.
Event 2 will be at Snipers In chilliwack on Sunday, August 28th
Event 3 will be held Saturday @ Ambush On Saturday October 8th
Divisions:
-Open (d2 d1 players) (max 1 pro per roster)
-Beginner D4 and D3 players ONLY
Teams will be guaranteed around 3 matches, and will play an additional 2 matches if they make finals
Costs:
Entry:
$20 per player. (max 8 players per roster)

Paint: FIELD PAINT ONLY
$45-80 depending on brand.
We will have a wide assortment of valken, XO and Kee paint on hand, and prices will be identical to our usual speedball prices. We will make sure to bring plenty so we don't run
out of your favorite brand before you are done playing.
Important rules
Format: X5
-12 minute "matches" race to 3.
-5 players per team (max roster of 8)
-12.5 bps ramping, or uncapped semi auto.
-no sideline coaching.
-3 minute break in between games to refill your air, pods etc and be back on the field.
-each team gets a 1 minute time our per match.
Penalties:
-playing on with an unobvious hit (ie pack, or something you cant actually see) 1 for 1.
-playing on with an obvious hit 2 for 1
-wiping 3 for 1 and player is suspended for rest of match.
-Ramping higher than 12.5bps. Teams will receive a 3 point deduction.
Reffing:
Since we don't want to put our names on something we wouldn't support, the head reffs for this event will be Nic and Owen. We will be out there on the field making sure everything is running fair and smoothly. Experienced AA and Predator reffs will make up the rest of the Reffing crew.
