Solonoid issues....

I'm about to be done with my Spyder lol.

So I go out to the field today and before we go on the field I walk over to the chrono station to test my gun to see if I'm sitting a little under 300, when my gun decides it's not going to fire. I thought it was the battery but we switched out the battery from the 9.6 volt (charged all through the night) to a premium 9 volt (full charge as well) and it didn't work. So i ask the techs inside and they show me that the trigger isn't even clicking like it normally should, and the solonoid isn't doing it's job either. Nothing is working, the gun won't fire, the solonoid won't click, the trigger doesn't even detect anything, nothing.

Should I just send it into Spyder and hope for the best or is it something that I can do right now?

you should get a new trigger frame if it's giving you that much trouble. it shouldn't be that expensive for a new one

I bought it in April, so I still have the 1 year warranty from Spyder, I'm just sick of the thing having so many issues. So you guys think I should just replace everything? I can't just buy a seperate solonoid?

The solenoid won't click if it doesn't get the signal from the trigger. Make sure the trigger is not set too close to the switch. That will prevent the switch from resetting for the next pull. Also check that all the plugs are in the right spots and fully seated in the board.

I hadn't changed the trigger settings since the last time i went out and it worked perfectly that day, and it shot 4 times then just quit on me yesterday, so i don't think it's the trigger. All the plugs are fully plugged in in the correct places, the battery is completely charged. I had the techs at my local field check it out and he owned many a Pilot and said that there was no other reason for this to happen other than the solonoid quitting on me. Unless he's wrong, and my trigger just got adjusted somehow in the time inbetween.

replacing just the solenoid would be more trouble then it worth, if you still have warranty from spyder, just send it it.
