We always run Speedball from 11:00am until closing as long as we have 10+ players that want to play. We also keep a Referee back for Speedball if the Open Game goes to the Village or the Hill. We dont want players waiting for an hour to play a game.
All I can say is if you want Speedabll, just ask inside the Sales Building. If we have enough players, and its after 11am, we should already be running Speedball. We also mark the Speedball Fields with "OPEN PLAY" banners so players know where to go after we announce it over the P/A.
Team Practice typically starts around 10am, however, Team Practice is intended for players that are either on a team, or trying out for a team. We dont like mixing walk on Open Players in with Team Practice.
Alot of teams (Like today) come down for closed practices too. This way they get more practice time playing against different lines from their own team. They typically will open up and play other teams once their practice is over.

Again, the key to getting in more play time is to simply ask where the games are being played at. We announce on the P/A all day, but players may show up after the Open Game heads out into the woods and might miss the announcement.
Trust me, my goal is to make sure every player gets as much play time as possible, every time they visit Fox.

Yes, most weekends we have plenty of players for Speedball. We actually ran Speedball last Sat and Sun with a range of 10-40 players all day long.
We either run alot of small games really fast, or, we have two lareg Speedball fields that we can run 40-50 player son at a time. We usually leave it up to the players on which way they would like us to run games.

Were open for the next four days, and planning on LOTS of people each day. Monday should be the BIG ONE, however, it is still a Holiday and people do leave town.
AIRBALL will be up all four days, SUPAIR and X BALL.
